I'm nobody! Who are you?
Are you nobody, too?
Then there's a pair of us---don't tell!
They'd banish us, you know.
How dreary to be somebody!
How public, like a frog
To tell your name the livelong day
To an admiring bog!
Emily Dickinson (1830-86)
My girls insisted that the frog made for a boring picture and that I post something more "interesting", so here is their pick:

Living on Pollywog Creek, as we do, I'm rather partial to the frog photo! It is certainly something I'd rather see coming out of the water than a giant squid!
As one of those "concerned citizens" you mentioned in your last post, I'm glad to see you participating in this weeks "hunt". Have a blessed weekend!

What great pictures, and what a lovely blog you have!
Is the Boston Terrier a couple of posts down yours? We also have a Boston.

Jennifer - Yes, Banjo is our one-year-old Boston Terrier. He's my baby. :) I'd post pictures of him every week, if I could get away with it.

I like the frog but your girls are right... that octopus arm is really ... well, nothing boring about that.. up close and personal with a sticky creature with suckers. I would get out of that water quickly.

well, their choice is certainly, ahem - interesting... ;)
I like your frog!!

I love the frog, a little less scary than the monster lol

I'm not fond of frogs but was so pleased to see you back.
I hope these days are more still as you make your rest near the Cross.
This journey can be so difficult. Its easy to lose footing because, simply put, we are that fragile. I pray you walk strong and sure in His path and yield to His hand that leads you, holds you, and reminds you of His nearness.

I love the frog photo. The details are so clear.

The frog photo is so GOOD! I love it. The octopus (is that what it is?) is a little scary: it looks like it is invading! ;=)

Both very cool pictures, but I really like the frog. There's so much detail there.

Love the picture and that is the first poem I ever memorized--my dad was a big Emily Dickinson fan, in fact my name, Heather came from "I never saw a Moor".
